Recently, video game-inspired Swedish metal group MACHINAE SUPREMACYannounced the upcoming release of their new album, Into The Night World, hitting stores on December 16, 2016 via their own Hubnester Records, in collaboration with Swedish music company BD Pop. Pre-orders are now available via iTunes.
MACHINAE SUPREMACY's 8-bit-laden alt-power metal tunes are backed by the notable technical prowess of guitar duo Jonas Rörling and Tomi Luoma. Today, Gear Gods gives fans a look at an exclusive guitar playthrough of the band's newest single, "My Dragons Will Decimate". Watch Rörling and Luoma deftly bounce around crafty riffs and scorching solos via Gear Gods here: http://geargods.net/video/machinae-supremacy-my-dragons-playthrough/
Guitarist Tomi Luoma discusses the gear used on the track, "For "My Dragons Will Decimate" I used a Jackson Kelly with active EMG pickups to record those balls-out metal riffs over Nicky's epic old-school VGM synth tracks. We use the ElevenRack for all guitars, but sometimes we just line in and use software FX like Amplitube to get the right sound. Dragons has a little bit of both."
Into The Night World track listing:
1. My Dragons Will Decimate
2. Into The Night World
3. Twe27ySeven
4. Remember Me
5. Space Boat
6. Stars Had To Die So That You Could Live
7. Beast Engine
8. Dream Sequence
9. Sid Metal Legacy
10. The Last March of The Undead
Vocalist Robert Stjärnström states, "Into The Night World is in some ways more simplistic than our last album, but somehow it manages to be both more playful and more sophisticated. There is still a story, but all of that is encapsulated in pure, straight-forward songs, each with its own separate, parallel meaning and purpose."
